Liffey Odyssey 2015 In Aid Of Barretstown

Date: Saturday 5th September Time: 15.00 � 17.30 Duration: 2 � 3 hours Start Point: Islandbridge Finish : Before East Link Bridge at Dublin Port HOST ORGANISATION: I-CANOE WEBSITE ADDRESS: www.i-canoe.com PRE -REGISTRATION REQUIRED: Yes REGISTRATION : �10 per person General This fundraising event is open to the general public however all prospective participants must satisfy the organisers they have sufficient ability to participate. All participants must wear an approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD) and appropriate safety equipment and bring suitable clothing. For all children participating they must have written parental permission to participate and all children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a competent adult paddler on the water. The event is primarily intended as an Open Canoe Tour however it is open to other craft that use a paddle such as Sit- On- Tops, Stand -Up -Paddle Boards (SUPs) and Rafts For safety reasons the tour will proceed down the river as a flotilla of crafts with all participants expected to stay behind designated Trip leader and in front of designated Trip Sweeper . Fancy Dress is strongly encouraged preferably SUITABLE FOR: Novice paddlers and for families with children older than 8 years of age who must be accompanied on the water .
